It is very easy to fit the front bar up-side down. All looks well with the car just sitting there too, so you think all is well. I have personally made this mistake and gently drove the car to Powerstation where the mistake was pointed out. It was a very gentle motorway drive to have a 100% alignment done, BUT.....

When you are driving it hard, the upsidedown anti roll bar will come into contact with the steering arm(s) and thing will tighten up so to speak!

So if I have fitted it the wrong way up it will look fine but the handling compromised.

I still can't work out how the bar can be fitted the wrong way up with it being such an akward shape.

I guess there is only one way to find out.

 

Remove the centre jacking plate completly off the front crossmember. Undo the brackets for the bushes and have a go.

You can do it wrong dead easy!
