Yes punishment enough being top of the league, only 2 defeats so far this season and into the Carling Cup semi's with the kids, o and into the knockout stage of the champions league.......yes its real punishment

Met Becks a couple of times,last time was when England were playing at St James Park,the team trained up the road from me.
Took my Daugjhter there as she is a huge Beckham and Owen fan,she got to meet becks had a chat,and autograph,and picture taken with him.
Black Hummer turned up at Hotel 10 mins later DB goes for test drive.Couple of weeks later he is all ver the Tabloids driving his New hummer.Wish i sold the pics now.

Say what you like - he is a talent on the pitch, knows how to market himself off the pitch, does loads for charity and gives masses back to the game and sport in genral - not many other sportsmen do that and certainly not in football.

Name me another player that can drop a dead ball cross on top of a striker in the same way he can and at the same consistant frequency - did you watch the last England match - the quality of ***** into the box - creating chances rose by 100% when he stepped on the pitch.

I could go on. The fact is that chances go up because that's ALL he does. The amount of crosses or freekicks that are cut out by the fullbacks or the wall is ridiculous. He may score a "wonder freekick", but i can guarantee that the previous 5 and the subsequent 5 will hit the wall. And the fact that nobody gets to take a freekick while he's on the pitch is stupid. Everyone knows what he's going to do, which is why so many are cutout.

We have a few of them already, Karen Lemmon in particular. I used to think Fat Craig David was one, but he seems to have woken up a bit lately.
