Where?!
Edit: Oh, you have to have pre-ordered from specific outlets. I ordered mine from Amazon.co.uk and apparently that isn't one of them
Wondering if I can pre-order with play.com now!

Just played the steam version, i got it because i had bought Borderlands GOTY a long time ago.

I was all set to run out and buy this on Friday as I have a rare day off without the Mrs, but heard bad things about the Demo, now i'm hearing the Demo was made months ago and the game has had significant improvements since, who knows.
Think i'll wait for the reviews to publish

Duke Nukem Forever - anyone played it yet?...
Out 10th June - but pirate copies and pre-order copies are already about.
I used to love playing Duke Nukem 3D when I was younger, and am interested to see what DNF will be like!
From what I've seen the graphics look pretty dated, but it was the gameplay and content that made it fun before, so hopefully will be the same with this one!
Anyone had a go yet?

Firstly Guardian 2/5! Does anyone care how the Guardian scores any game???
Ok so I bought it today, it is very much an old school shooter, think Duke 3D, Doom etc with improved graphics. I first started playing and thought it was a bit weak, however when I played it for a couple of hours I really got into it, typical Duke humor Graphics are not ground breaking, there are plenty of shooters out with better but they are in keeping with the game and I found they were perfectly acceptable and diidn't think about them after first few minutes.
For me the game is fun, if you like Duke games you will like this, for people with no interest in Duke Nukem then don't bother with this, stick to Call of Duty, for me it's a good fun game.

Agreed, I'm finding the game very much fun and typical Duke old school style.
I much prefer games that are fun rather than concentrating on just graphics and have no lastability, the campaign mode is meant to be very long for a shooter.
Had a couple of matches online late last night not sure what to think about the online games yet.

Played about 45 minutes of it last night, so far, so good! The GFX aren't outstanding, but they aren't bad. The gameplay is very good & that is what games are about. Certainly if you, like me were around when Duke 3D, Doom, Wolfenstein, et al, were first out then you can appreciate DNF for what it is - a good laugh & mindless fun!
I don't think its trying to take its self too seriously, if you want serious & cutting edge GFX, then wait for BF3. If you want to play a game that harks back to the days when a Math co-processor was an optional accessory & 5mb of RAM was cutting edge, then DNF is the game for you.
Bosh!

I have mixed feelings about the game having played it for quite a while. Firstly having seen it running on an Xbox I couldn't play the game there, but maybe that is just me not being very dextrous (I mainly use my Xbox 360 as a media streamer).
For the PC, it is good in places. The radio controlled driving was excellent, the feverish being attacked by many pigs really good. Other parts like aimless wandering is not so good and as I mentioned above a little dull.
