Doh !

When I bought my impreza 3 years ago I nearly bought M555 DAS (my initials) as a personal plate 'cos it looked like the rally team, then they went without 555 and I thought - nah wont bother now. Now they bring it back !

Honestly they can be so thoughtless.....

Nothing wrong with reddish blue Well chuffed if 555 is making a comeback. Had a few non-scooby people comment on the 555 plate on my MY97 who don't know the significance. Hopefully they might catch on now.

The first Impreza Gr.A rally car was homologated as the 'Impreza 555' back in 1993.
Actually, I think the stars livery was based on the original 555 livery, which last appeared in 1998.

 

Good news for all those "555" reg.no platers, eh?

Thank you Sal my wallpaper has now been changed.

I was just sorting something else out an one of the guys in the office saw it and went is that a Ford! Two other people just about fell out of their chairs laughing.

Nice to see the 555 back, bit of a traditionalist at heart. Don't mind taking money from the cigarette companies... doesn't mean I have to smoke them.

BTW I like it, but there must be something wrong with my screen it looks blue to me! <- smilies!

When I was living in Oz, I had to re-register my WRX when I moved to Melbourne. The registration I was given (totally by chance) was PUX 555, which I though was kind of spooky .
