yeh thats why i just edited it! its late and im old and up past my bedtime! but its still gona go bang the way you drive! buy yourself somthing like a type r thats already had forged internals and other mods even if they quote you 2.5k a year insurance it will still work out cheaper and the value of the of the car will go up over the next five years and if you keep it till your 40 it will be worth a mint!

poor kid only wanted to chat about power then all the rich fat scooby owners pipe up and tell him not to bother on a my 98 and buy and STI and tell him he is too young and then call him a chav! no wounder he has been posting like he has! man you old *******s wanna get a life, winding someone up then infracting them when they take the bait!

dude if you havnt told your insurance company about your mods your not insured anyway so i wouldnt worry about how much it costs! unless you got big bucks id sell the car sharpish if i were you cos with 260 odd at the flywheel which means gear box and engine bang

if you have money then to spend then spend it on paying for declaring the mods on your scoob will save you a whole heap of trouble.
if you still have money left after that then 400bhp isn't gonna be cheap. talk thousands of pounds here.
your gonna need to replace engine, gearbox, clutch and a whole load of supporting mods to keep it reliable.
yeah you can get 400bhp out of your current engine, strap a big turbo to it and crank up the boost, you'll get 400bhp, for a week if your lucky or you might even destroy the engine during mapping.
the other issue is (without knowing anything about your driving) are you ready for 400bhp? you say your 20, but 99% of 20 year olds can't cope with 400bhp, you have to treat that sort of power with alot of respect or it will hurt you and possible those around you or who get in your way if you crash. i first jumped into a scoob at 22 and this is what happened
i was covered fully comp and only ened up loosing about £400, but i consider myself lucky, because i walked away.
