Apart from climbing the tree, or borrowing one of those very long window cleaning poles, I thing you are poorly placed. I suppose you cant use a ladder.
You will have to take it as a signal lesson not to fly an RC model under low light conditions. Big mistake.

The answer is simple get the ant hill mob to stand on each others shoulders with the feet of the bottom mob member firmly planted on chugabooms roof... The top mob member will grab the plane from the tree and pass it back to you.
It is worth documenting the risk that should Penelope Pitstop call "Heyelp" that your cunning stunt may be placed on hold...

WoooooooHooooooo!!!!
Went to the tree this morning, on the way to work - no plane in the tree!!
It's dropped out, I thought, and some kid has taken his/her prize home!!
Anyway, looking around the area I found it in the hedge ditch .... the tail wing has snapped in half, it's wet and looking a bit sorry for itself but I reckon it will fly again!!!

Thinking of registering the idea as the Rottapult, well they have a catapult already!
