Well thats just putting words into my mouth. I know that we cannot and should not treat anyone from anywhere (and have never said so). The difference here is that we WERE treating this poor woman, and then decided to stop and remove her...why is that so hard for you to understand?

I find it depressing the zeal with which people state their views, despite the fact that there is a human being on the wrong end of this issue. We may have sent her back to Ghana, but lets not celebrate the fact.

What you say in this post is no answer whatsoever, she should not have had been thrown out of the country while she was undergoing cancer treatment to keep her alive. If you ever find yourself with that terrible disease you might just begin to understand the principles involved.

There is figure this government has to hit interms of tax revenue and GDP in oder to keep everything ticking over, right?

Britian as a whole is an aging population, you need to keep the working number at a level to bring in that tax revenue.

When you have a surplus of old people and not so many youn'uns paying the bills you need to do something.

This is why immigration is an absolutely essential part of the success of this country.

You need people to come here and work, and pay taxes in order to keep everything ticking over. (which the vast majority do, not all of them are freeloading scroungers, amazingly).

PB, france is 4 times the size of the uk, so they have 700,000 more immagrants in a country much, much bigger! see my point!

And bad for the country cos all the low skilled, low paid jobs have been taken up by immagrants, leaving no work for unskilled national people, so they go on the benefits!

The worst thing is, when they are settled in, they bring the rest of the family over, and the cycle gets bigger, it needs sorting now!

They have to go through France to get to Britain.

The French are building more detention centers near the Tunnel. Why? Not for the want of wanting them to stay. Just a shelter for them while waiting to walk through the tunnel. The French just don't want them staying in France.

Every new country that enters the EU starts a new influx of immigrants who want to come to Britain.

France, Germany etc put quota's on the amount of legal immigrants allowed into their country to work. Guess which country didn't?

What about those who come here not to work?

They get to immigration and plead that they will be killed if they go back. Granted asylum. They then apply for a house, benefits etc. They get them.

They don't work as they are getting free money. They then get family over from their original country, who don't work.
Crime rates go up as they want extra money, but obviously don't want a job to get it.

This is good for Britain????? Really?

Thousands are entering Britain every month. Can they all be good for Britain?

This country is getting worse and worse and will only keep getting worse. There are already no go area's in Britain for British people to go because of immigration. Is this good for Britain?

I dom, but I don't agree that we are running out of space. We are concentrated into urban areas with vast expanses of countryside in between.

Problem is that not enough people are taking up traditional trades as careers. There has been a shortage of plumbers/builders/carpenters etc for sometime now - Mainly due to the big increase in people aspiring and getting to university. Someone has to do the labour intensive jobs, and Britians are prepared to.

Unemployemnt figures arent growing or changing significantly - so your assertion that people ar ebeing force donto the dole doesn't add up..

I suggest you read what's been said and you'll notice the points all three of you choose to ignore. I'll also say for the 3rd or 4th time, why aren't all three of you donating to her campaign? I still haven't heard where you'd draw the line on this. If she had Aids would you feel as strongly?

At least you know where the rest of us stand on the matter, we're not fence sitting or advocating more of us paying for the world's health.

If I do find myself with an illness like hers I've got an NHS to treat me as I've contributed to it through my taxes, I've also got private healthcare insurance. What I won't be doing is parking myself in another nation illegally and using their resources.

The UK is one of the ONLY countries to have a quota system for new member state migration - which to me is hypocritical as we argued (rightly) the most for their inclusion.
