sending a player off whos team are getting beat like that is kicking a dog when its down.
I cannot agree. All players know what constitutes foul and abusive language...
Leeds boy clearly overstepped the mark. You cant disregard the rules because he plays for a rubbish team

As a Man U fan, I found the fact he was clapped off by the "faithful" as pitiful.

It was the most enjoyable second half performance of the season though!

Was it a straight red, or was he already on a yellow, match of the day never made it clear

Considering the decision was ever so slightly dodgy in the first place, I did think it was a bit harsh sending him off for disputing it

Straight red it seems.

Yeah but 5-0 or 6-0... it's not really worth bothering is it. If it was the winner I could understand.

i see no one mentioning the disallowed goal by Owen in the first half, that MIGHT, but probably not have made a difference to the game, i cant really comment on anymore of it as i knocked it off at 3-0

Curious though, which Premiership team are located in SW Cornwall?

Ah yes, now I remember, none.

We are a north west family ( both British and Canadian) been to many a newcastle game in the past but with a kid games have taken a back seat
