I wouldn't recommend running 95 Andy, yes it will learn to retard ignition but your car is really running too high a boost level to operate efficiently with retarded timing.
You could as a last option use the low boost whilst on 95ron, the best option is buy a bottle of NF octane booster and add 1/3rd of the bottle per fill up, one bottle should allow over 700miles on 95 ron.

Pretty much regardless of brand they fill up at the same place, all the companies have a sharing agreement to cut down on haulage costs (Asda, Tesco, Shell, BP, Jet, Total) etc etc

Andy,

your ECU will take a couple of tank fulls of the good stuff to relearn/advance. You can speed it up a bit with a reset (unplug battery for 30 mins or so), but make sure you've run some v-power through it first (say half a tank)..

If you're uncertain about what fuel may be available, then a bottle of OB wouldn't be a bad thing to carry.

I'm sure you know but, in order of preference:

V-power
Tesco 99
Esso 97 SUL
Total 97 SUL

then there's:

Turps
pi55
water
BP Ulti****e..

sorry to seem a bit harsh, but mate put it in his scoob and you could have a disco with the activity from his nocklink
Lol...no prob. I neva thought it was that bad. Had no probs running on it, but then again, back then, my car wasnt mapped on V power so possible that the engine wont like BP.

Octane booster in the boot, cant go wrong
