Terzo - I've just picked up one of these myself - also in Sprint Blue strangely enough - and I'm interested in going down the REVO route and perhaps fitting Milltek as well.

Got any tips for the best place to get the work done? I'm a bit concerned about how to get the original exhaust home again, if I had the Milltek fitted at a specialist! - I don't think they break down into such manageable sections the scooby ones do ....

cheers
David

TBH honest Dave I'm not sure I haven't done any mods to my RS4 (and don't intend to !)

Re; getting your exhaust back, I suppose you could get a courier to pick up the original exhaust and have them drop it off at yours ?

MRC (favoured by most on RS246) now do a re-map I believe for these - check out RS246.com.

Original exhaust does NOT break down for easy shipping. I just had my original re-fitted yesterday (as I have sold the RS4 ) . Had to get works truck to deliver it. The Milltek is easier to handle. I am about to put it on Pistonheads by the way!)

ok thanks DaveM, will keep my eyes open!

I do love the sound of the V8 with the flap exhaust mod done, but to be honest I do hunger after a little more volume

Dave,

Take it from me - the OE system doesn't break down at all!

After fitting my Milltek I though I would use my mates Passat estate to get it home. It fitted in the car with literally an inch to spare!

Its bloody heavy too!

Milltek is a MUST! !

Also "Ray West" is the man to re-map the car, he's done loads and i know he does a great job.

I hate you already, and strangely enough have been stalking you on rs246 as well!

Trying hard to save up for one of these, but someone else is whinging about buying a house! Why? You can live in a car and drive it about, you cant drive a house!
