Like I said mate, you won't be disappointed with which ever one you choose. I think it's a bit like the Evo Vs Impreza debate. It will go on forever but in the end they are both very good at what they do and both very capable.

The choice is yours!

.....or buy both!

Have a search about, Kev bought a 40Gb version last week and he said that he found a few places that still had 60Gb versions in stock. That was up in central London around where he works.

80Gb version is due out in March/April I believe. Not sure if that will still be PS2 compatible and not sure what sort of premium it will command with the bigger HD.

I have the 40GB version and the WiFi is built in PS2 incompatability is a pain in the a$$ though

Media sharing from my PC is cool though and so easy to set up with windows media player 11

Also so much quieter than my jet powered XBOX tractor () LOL

Think the XBOX is for the serious gamer @ the mo because of the back up of titles, but the PS3 is the better more refined console, IMO?

Frayz, post up your gamer tag once you've joined xbox live

TV choices: there's only one, dont waste your money on inferior stuff if you want a proper gaming TV
Pioneer Plasma HD Ready Plasma TV

here's a handy guide if you're still undecided: Which flat screen TV is better: plasma or LCD? - Pioneer UK

LOL Pioneer would say that as they are a Plasma manufacturer and don't make any LCD's so they will be biased That said they are fantastic TV's if you look at the top models just a shame I cant get them ?

As I have said b4 the best thing to do is take a look @ the pic for yourself, or coller me and I will be happy to offer my advise

Sorry to do a small hijack Frayz......

I'm looking at getting a Sony KDL40W3000 , I've seen them online for £1185 including 5 years warranty from cheepelectricals.co.uk Is this something you could get (and be worth your while of course ) ? Or does that seem a bit too good to be true including the warranty ?
Any views greatly taken

Dave

Just ordered 2 play/charge kits aswell.

Im going to hook the 360 up to my normal telly before i get a new HD one. However the Elite console comes with the HDMI cable.

Will this HDMI lead still work with a normal telly or do i need another lead?

If the the TV is not HD ready then it will probably not have a HDMI socket, therefore a component or Scart connection would be required.
