The roads are no quieter, people still have to get about so they can pay their bills, stealth taxes and rocketing bills, which includes fuel so its a bit of a vicous circle.

I think everyones right on here who has said it'll be £1.50 per litre soon ! If it gets that bad I won't be going to work anymore, won't be worth it what with how much it'll cost me just to get there

That's already started around here !! Oh and also the UNEXPLAINED rise in drive-offs from petrol station forecourts.

UNEXPLAINED ffs

Have they not thought about the fact that some people literally cannot afford to put fuel in their cars anymore, just to get to work !

Just filled up tonight - 130.9p for diesel

The prices move so fast I lose track of what's "cheap" and whats not!

I'm really noticing the extra outgoing at the moment with food shopping having increased significantly, and gas and electric constantly increasing by 20% odd!! I need to a BIG pay increase just to keep up with inflation!

I'm at the point where I could sell my 12 year old GTR, buy a brand new Golf GTI and be £80 a month better off just on the fuel savings. It's looking seriously tempting right now

When I was 18 and bought my first Sierra Cosworth,I remember fuel being around 60p a litre - those were the days

A guy I work with said he's had enough of paying £20 a week in fuel just to get to work and that he was going to start getting the bus, until he found out that would cost him £25 a week
