Specifically about the 22B wide-body kits that can be bought for sedans & wagons in UK...
Although 1 fool thinks they're kool...
Each to their own...

I'm lucky enough to be semi-retired...
I have enough money to do what I want, when I want, where I want & how I want...

Yes, unfortunately, my exalways knew the best ways to hurt me but she's scuttled back under a rock now...
At least I don't have to put up with the constant whining...
Like I said, that's life, ...

ATM Bodelia sits inside my garage, waiting to be started & driven approx 250klm on weekends...
Never in the rain...
Never on the dirt...
You want ****!!!

Which is why I have Bertha, as my daily flog, test bed & occasional club-competition car...
Check updated profile for approx 25K (Oz Banana $) worth of mods planned for the next few months...
have to agree with the 22B kits, the good ones seem few and far between...Minty has a fantastic looking wide-body 4 door though if you can find pics of it.

I am deeply envious of your semi-retirement status, I've a way to go yet so will be catching the gravy train for some time

nasty biaaaacth, lets hope she stays under there

decent mod list you have put together there, I look forward to seeing (), bertha evolve. With a bit of luck my interior should be done by the weekend, I'll get it fitted and post some pics.

Always on the lookout for new ideas/projects...
Which is one of the reasons I joined ScoobyNet...
Projects, ideas, discussion & similar/like-minded ppl...

I love designing, making &/or matching custom parts, or getting them made...
Looking @ a part that I've had a hand in making &/or fitting to any car I've owned makes me feel all warm 'n' fuzzy...
Inside, outside & mechanically...
To me it means MY car, not someone elses...

Had to go 'n' have a look @ Bertha...
MMmmmmmmm...

Never know, might steal/borrow your idea, if it looks good...
Sorry, no dollars in it for ya, but, if I DO use an idea, I'm always happy to reference who/what gave it to me ...

Forgot to mention I'm getting a gr8 deal on leather seats...
Got quoted from $3500 to over $5000 Oz bananas to do the F & R seats...
Local guy, who buys the hides, not just kits, is doing them for $1700 in any colour/combination I want...
No...
I'm definately NOT getting a *****-out pink or yellow interior...
Which is what a few ppl here in Oz have suspected...
Something subtle like Black with dark blue &/or dark purple trim, mebbe some flashes of red...

lol, my car used to be parking in the road outside my old place...when i first got it I spent much too much time sneaking peaks at it through the window

i try to modify the thing in keeping with the manufacturers original idea...Chip Foose is amazing at that kind of modification

props for original inspiration is good enough for me lol

my interior is black half leather with dark grey\blue alcantara centres and door panels. I have a v5 interior half black leather\blue alcantara which looks v nice but the v6 seats are more supportive...I only brought it five months ago but being **** I'm changing it already because its not exactly right

ROFLMAO...
Bet there's not too many ppl own up to sneaking looks @ their ride...

You're right, v6 seats are more supportive...
Which is why I'm on my 2nd set of Momos...
Foam on the original set started to degenerate with wear, specially the righthand side support round my butt area,, so I shelled out for a perfect 2nd set...
The originals are the ones copping the leather retrim with some map pockets on the back...
Also gotta lower the seat height as I'm over 6" tall & am sick of the roof liner tapping against my head...
Engineered seat rails & mount in the pipeline as none I can buy will do the job I want!!!

I love pics to get better/different ideas but not many ppl focus on their trim mods...
I'm still debating whether to retrim the door panels...

Been searching the threads, here & other forums, & I've drawn up a few different ideas but looks like I'm gonna have to do them myself as trimmers (even mine!) want a lot extra (read $250/112 pounds) to cover each panel when I'm capable of retrimming them myself for less than $50 each...

@ "not exactly right"...
Sometimes even just right aint enuff!!!

Edit...Whooze Chip Foose???

I don't think the grey will suit Bertha...
Nonetheless, very nice job...
I LIKE the scalloping...
Thanks for the link to Foose's Design M8...
