It's horses for course really, I don't think you can say one is better than the other ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Also, I've never owned a Scoob
I've driven a couple, mainly an STI8 to Germany and back. The Scoob is quicker outright, no doubting that but the ST wouldn't be that far behind. I would say the ST is much easier to live with day to day, I find the driving position much better, the steering friendlier and the clutch much easier to control. The main difference for me, nail the ST and it'll go dead straight all day long, I found the Scoob lurched around on gear changes...didn't like that at all and found it off putting.
I put them equal on burbleiness, especially with a Magnex on the ST

Standard they're both similar horsepower, the difference is 90% of cossies these days are 100bhp more than standard, if not more, where as alot of UK turbo's are still standard, or close to it.

Ever heard of torque steer? All the road tests I've read says they torque steer like a pig.

BTW Tell her, to "blow someone away" you'll need significantly more power...i.e. certainly above a 100 bhp advantage, assuming aimilar weight, of course! ;D

BTW the reason a ST doesn't torque steer is that torque is capped in the first two gears, which in my view, indicated that the power is too much for the FWD layout.
