i personally think that the show was rubbish, they basically got the weirdest and most absurd members of the BNP to be interviewed which i thought was a completely cheap way of belittling the BNP.
I don't in any way agree with what the BNP stand for and definitely wouldnt think of voting for them but i really don't believe that show was made to do anything other than make people go. "well they are just a bunch of weirdos."

To be honest, I think it would be quite difficult to portray BNP activitsts and members as anything other than a binch of "wierdos" because that's exactly what they are.
Although I would replace the word "Wierdos" with "Cretinous Morons that have all the intelligence of a fishcake"

I don't think they are all weirdo's, i do believe that they have alot of hangers-on that do cross over into the insane
Without beating around the bush i do believe most of the BNP are idiots but only because they are following something they believe that can help Britain but are infact being lead by dangerous people.
I do believe though that the "british way of life"(whatever that is?) is going down the pan. I am white, male and under 30 and to be honest i don't feel that i am hard done by or feel that i am treated differently by Joe Public but i do feel that i am being treated differently by the Laws that govern this land. This annoys me greatly as i see Polish/Africians/Catholics(i live in northern ireland) coming in and taking jobs, getting houses, claiming benefits and I am not entitled too even though i have being paying into this country from the age of 17. But this isn't their fault this is the the fault of the Government! I don't believe that imigrants etc etc are ruining our country its the people we elect to run it that are ruining it. OR more to the point its the ones that we can't be bothered to go out and elect but are willing to moan about it that are running this country!
So really for some the BNP really is the obvious choice as they don't see the underlying problems they just see that its caused by BLACKS and PAKI's and IMIGRANTS.

its only the truth, when i went to apply for the Police, i was told by a Police officer on duty that i should put on let them know i am Catholic as i stood a better chance of getting the job.
I don't particularly agree with it but i can only go on experience

I suppose the catholics in Norn Ireland would feel that they had been treated as second class citizens in years gone past by the majority. I can see that any "positive discrimination" is going to cause friction. Maybe the only way to change things within a short period of time though ? Prejudice now to gain equilibrium in the future.

The point i'm trying to make although probably not well is that until the government treat people as equals there will always be a place for the BNP and the people who follow it.
I have had a very good upbringing for the place that i live as i grew up in an area where protestants and catholics mixed well and also went to an integrated school. it was not until I reached the age were i wanted a job that i noticed the differences. I don't feel anger towards anyone but the ones who run this country as they are the ones pulling the strings.

Indeed - its just a pity that anyone would see Brand, a notorious ******* of anything female, acting camp alongside a ****, a notorious scum bag, acting like a scum bag ....... and find Brand's approach the issue worthy of negative comment!
Its like watching a WW2 documentary and suggesting that Churchill had a weight problem!

I found Brand very amusing and entertaining in HIGNFY but did not admire his camp approach to the BNP fellow in an obvious attempt to wind him up and gain an advantage. Why not just have a normal interview and ask straightforward questions. He has easily enough wit to do that successfully.
Try as I may, I can't see the relevance of the remark about Churchill!

PS. I hope you see the irony in calling Russell "serial swordsman" Brand a "woofta" the guy has bedded more fit women than you have probably seen in your lifetime. We went to see him live in Manchester last year and there were women throwing themselves at him and vice versa. He is clearly comfortable in his heterosexuality.

I love Asian people, have a lot of time for the black community, think gay people are great fun BUT... fat women repulse me... what does that make me? I can't be "fattist" because fat men don't bother me and women most certainly don't!

Not all that impressed with the interviewer either. Creepy looking chap who speaks like a woofta and cant even talk properly with his use of the glottal stop.

My point was you mucked up, get over it and stop trying to justify your original comment. Simple.

It is quite frightening how much support the BNP actually have
I live in a small wealthy market town in cumbria and at our last local elections which have a very small turnout to vote 600 in a population of 4500 the BNF turned up with a candidate from outside the area (they did a mail drop a week earlier )and they actually polled 68 votes torries won with 300 odd and labour 200 aprox
The media got wind of this and pictures of the BNP standing looking tough with their black ill fitting suits and loose fitting ties trying to talk to people as they went to vote in a tradionally posh tory countryside town and the BNP said they were delighted with the votes and will be back
It will be interesting how much support they will get in the future and possibly more if they get away from the ****/ thug style image to get the more broader range of people to vote for them

Luckily for me, it's never going to happen - The odd local council as a protest vote, maybe, for one term. But a seat in Parliament? Not a chance.
