I did that Bungy in SA. For a bit of added adventure it was on Friday the 13th! The walk out to the place where you jump from is arguably as bad, you are walking on a mesh platform with nothing below you but a drop!

It is good fun though, fall for 5 seconds before the cord goes taught then another 3 whilst it stretches.

Worst bit is waiting for the bloke to come down and winch you back up!

Prob not worth a trip out there just to do that and on its own its not really that extreme or challenging

BTW, friend of mine wanted to do Everest base camp. He bought every book, watched every film, read every website as research - then decided he'd learned so much he didn't actually need to go there

As Les says, it's a bit controversial these days too.

Now then - perhaps crossing the M25 in the rush hour blindfolded
Also no risk at all. Everyone knows that the M25 in rush hour only moves at 4mph.

He'd only be going to base camp, not the summit!

See my post above. The book differentiates between pseudo-extreme sports (look terrifying but low real risk of death) and real ones (make a mistake and you're toast). For the latter, only a dodgy bungy set-up would count.
Yup, bungy is fine as long as the rope aint too long !

I've enjoyed skydiving and also scuba diving in the barrier reef - actually I found the scuba diving more challenging (ie scarey ! ).

Nobody, and I mean nobody should admit to wanting a 'pile of póo Harley'

Admitting you want one must have been a big enough challenge mentally.

Any ideas???

How about Bungee Climbing

See how far you can climb before being plummeted to the ground by bungee cord

A year or so ago, I had this strange urge to want to climb everest, or at least part of it

Must have been the menopause or something
