A mate has a new JDM type r 4 door saloon, its pure touring car lol, an absolutly amazing piece of kit.
It is only just slower than my 260bhp Classic WRX, I've played with so called PPP late model STI's and they where no contest i'm guessing due to there excessive weight.

I owned an EP3 Civic Type R for two years from new and kept the car standard. I was able to stay once rolling with a standard uk spec Subaru WRX, but really had to work the gears right to keep the car in the vtec zone. I found the handling and brakes to be excellent on twisty roads in dry conditions. I was happy and did think about modding until I was completly destroyed by a newage Subaru Sti.

I give up!! They really aren't getting the point that it's easier to get up to license losing speeds without having to think about changing down in a 270bhp WRX. The WRX will be FAR more flexible in gear.
