FQ360

I find the turning circle pretty crap in my Spec C to be honest. 7 point turns are a regular thing
Err.. Spec C has equal length headers so it does not have the off beat rumble of UK cars.

I take it you have not driven an FQ360 then? They come on boost from just over 2000rpm so unless you expect instant power in 6th gear at 20mph then you are wrong
Sounds like the stupid test Jeremy Clarkson done on Topgear when he tested an FQ400

Great cars & superfast! I originally had my heart set on a EVO IX fq360 last month or a IX GT (import), both very similar power. Test drove them but instead went for a Scooby Hawkeye Spec C. Dont get me wrong theres nothing wrong with the Evo, in many ways its a better car than the Scooby, but not what I was looking for:
-I couldnt justify paying £6k to £7k more than a similar aged Spec C
-Interior quality of materials was not that good
-Turning circle was horrendous & no scooby rumble!
-You had to be always in the right gear, on boost or there was no power, constantly had to stick it in 2nd gear in townb to get it going
-No Ncap saftey results, but US crash saftey tests show the Hawkeye Scooby to be 4 star rated & the Evo 2 to 3 star with poor results for A pillar & floorpan rigidity. All the body trauma figures were a lot higher in a crash for a Mitsu than the Scooby & in the end this along with the price diff made me go for the Scooby.

It was the silver 06 FQ360 in Hillingdon Mitsu, its still there I think. Maybe I was used to power in any gear/revs, comming from my old 350z? But the Spec C has a lot of pull in any gear/seems torquier & doesnt seem as on/off in its power delivery. But maybe thats just me!
