Very true. Tends to be more minstream soaps and daytime TV than anything else (e.g. Shameless, Hollyoaks).

That's a typical gay view..... all men are gay, if you enjoyed the bumming scene you're gay and if you didn't like it you're a closet gay

Of course if you aren't prepared to debate the issue then it is clear that their is no discussion to be had and you are wrong.

Seriously though it should be restricted viewing..... it spoils the whole programme to see gays trying to camp things up at every opportunity.

Shameless is restricted viewing, it's on at 10pm and has a disclaimer at the start saying there will be "scenes of a graphic and sexual nature". What more would you suggest?

This could be expanded to include some sort of audible alarm to alert you if you are in the kitchen when you are making a cuppa so you don't miss it when some bird with cracking norks is about to pop them out on the telly.

Where do you draw the line at the warnings though, if you had warnings before the program about everything that might offend people then you'd have more warnings than program with some shows. I can see where some people are coming from with the campness for example, some of it is over the top. With regard to the kissing, it's a fact of life, it happens blokes do kiss each other. If it really offends you that much, write in and complain, if they get enough complaints they'll soon put a stop to it (as stated earlier, it's about the ratings, if they're doing things that make viewers turn off then they'll soon put a stop to it).

Although this thread kind of reminds me of the Simpsons sketch where Rayner Wolfcastle comments on a key board player's shirt and states (say it in an Austrian accent)
"That's some shirt; it makes you look like a homosexual"
The audience respond with a chorus of jeers and boos, to which Rayner replies:
"oh, well maybe you are all homosexuals!!"

I liked the simpsons episode when Homer thought Bart was gay so took him to the steelworks to 'straighten him out'.
Threads like this are always interesting, as everyone's got an opinion.

Perhaps some kind of screen flash that says "WARNING, GAYER ACTION IMMINENT" before any homosexual activity.

All we need now is a "Real Man" button on the sky remote to activate said feature

Its not like you see actual penetration, I can understand how you cant take it all in (Fnarr Fnarr).
So what, people f*ck each other, I am kind of ambivalent to it, its on late and as a show it has a reputation for being near the knuckle (up to the elbow probably) so dont watch it if bothers you. At least a kind of affection, Eastenders and some of the other soaps are more unpleasant in tone if not actual visual content.
I just think if Gays feel about other blokes like I do about women then go for it, you have to remember they are wired a bit differently and make allowances.
As long as they dont camp it up too much, that does grate, Ricky Gervais got it spot on in Extras on the Camp thing.
