Surely Universal & Paramount will have to go Multiformat soon, I mean HD-DVD is dead in the water, the bottom has fallen out of it completely.

Warner's decision was due to blu-ray getting the Profile 1.1, giving it the same feature's that were already on HD DVD. This was the reason the BR version of the Matrix boxset wasn't released at the same time.

i'm just after selling my xbox HD-DVD drive to a scoobynet member and orded a Toshiba HD-EP35.

HD-DVD player are selling by the shed load at the moment, so i dont think its over yet and if it is, so what! i got a good deal on a few HD-DVD and disks that in my opinion look better than Blu-ray and sound exactly the same.

Plus i know that in 2-3years time when Transfomers 5 comes out on HD-DVD i know it'll work perfectly on my defunct machine unlike blu-ray
