My comment that people are stopping paying 'in droves' is based on comments like the one that proceeds your foot stomping. Certainly not 'monitoring' as you suggest. Does reading the board count as 'monitoring'???

As for the other comments, you can stick your main olfactory organ wherever you like as far as I'm concerned. We all know where it is currently.

I'm not trying to prove anything. I merely made a comment that various humourless individuals have taken umbrage to as is their right. They also decided to use the very infraction system that I'm sure many of them have complained about.
The irony of that and that the infraction system actually works in favour of certain aims that I have isn't lost on me.

84, yes, you may be correct there, its wierd, I found SN looking for info on Sccobs several years ago, was goign to get a Wagon (ended up with a 850 T5) but am still lurking here after all that time, talking sh1te and have still never owned one. My brain does a lot of pondering, mainly about sex and beer but there is some spare runtime

SN is quite compelling and like it or not becomes a part of your life, I suppose another board would have to suffice if it wasnt here or I could perhaps give up but I did wonder the other day how long it would be around for , will I be posting when I am PSL's age.

My thread was nto intended to generate anti Scoobynet ire or give the moaners something to feed off, just enjoy it for what it is and stop winding each other up.

Tam, I can see why you are peed off, just have a week of and forget about it, its generally best to avoid slagging gypsies off, they seem to be in the middle in the slagging off stakes, one end you have Blacks and Asians where you a deffo branded a bigot if you slag them off (for good reason) and then on the other hand, anyone fat or ginger is still fair game, in the middle we have Gypsies and nobody is quite sure whether we are still allowed to slag them off.

I think generally there is a lot of negative feeling towards the travelling community as they dont always leave places pristine after a visit, things have been alledged to go missing and their tarmac laying skills are often called into question, trouble is, true Romanies, law abiding travellers (I am assuming some must be) and anyone with a an impressively shiny caravan is tarrred with the same brush, plus when you post stuff like that, you open yourself up to infraction as a lot of the time the infractor is just looking for an "in" to justify infracting you rather than being genuinely offended, not saying that is the case here but its possible, look at PSL, he has wound so many up over the years he has so many queueing up to infract him for the slightest transgression.

How can someone who appears not to be a sn+ member be apparantly banned and yet still be able to post ?? slightly confused as I thought it was only sn+ members who were allowed to have this "" special " wording under there username ??!!

Anyone can be banned by the infraction system if they tot up enough points (except Mods & Admin/Webby)

If the word Banned is in red under the username, then they have been banned by Scoobynet, if it says banned in black under the username, the user has put this in themselves, but aren't actually banned

Anyone with less than IIRC 25 posts if they get banned by two users then all their posts disappear as if they never existed

However what you are finding is that new trolls register and play along nicely till they have their 25 posts then they start till they get banned by the infraction system
