heres a b4 shot as i havent took the afters yet, i have degreased and jet washed, just havent dressed the bay yet.

the best way i find is too soak the engine with TFR degreaser for 20mins on a cold engine, start the car up and jet wash avoid some components.
Let it dry off and use wd40 on plastics.
Heres some of my previous cars.

its best to do while car running as it may become an **** to start after jetwash as it will need to dry out, i also use wd40 as it puts a shiney layer on the plastics and also lubs the parts at the same time lol

TFR is a very high quality degreaser or traffic film remover, removes all oil, grease etc etc.
Im not recommending this but some of my m8s take there seats etc out, spray the TFR and jet wash off after about 1min and they look like brand new.

You don't need to steam clean or use a pressure washer. Spray on some multi purpose cleaner (Available from most supermarkets) agitate with a brush then hose off with a low pressure hose or watering can. Finish with a detailing spray then go for a drive to ensure its all dried out
