Just some basic cork based items mate. Nothing special.

Need some Carltons or Yonex ones

we constructed a mechanism which allowed us to play badminton on our own and used an old yonex shuttle

I have some brand new carlton shuttles on their way to me, went for the faster ones to really get you moving around that court

I will give these to Tiny when they arrive as i doubt i will be able to turn up every monday.

cheers

BTW.....

Respect to Tiny....

Not only was he sporting a slightly "sportier" frame to the last time I saw him.

But he's one hell of a good Badminton player!!!!!

Keep up the good work!

P.S. As I said previously, I think we all played to a decent std. all considering!

I played well, it's a great game for fitness and improving flexibility and co-ordination....

What you should also do (like any exercise), is warm up and cool down after....

Unlike last night lol

You should also do stretchs after for at least 30 secs on the main muscles or you'll end up injured.....

yep, all changed will bring a copy of the new scoring with me matey.

along the lines of you can score not matter when you are serving, each team only gets 1 serve per hand not the old 2 and slightly different ways each team serves.

Yes also have some shuttles on route, hopefully in time for friday.

Bleeding bad enough learning how to play again let alone managing with new rules as well

new rules are easier to understand.

Best of 3 games each game up to 21 can score even if it isnt your serve. So basically way you can score is more like tennis.

Bad news guys.....

After I'm going to have to miss Badders this week...

I've picked up a slight spained ankle and even though I could play if I took it easy.... I don't really want to risk it....

I have to keep running which is bad enough, but the loading and impact of a game may not help!

I'M GUTTED....

P.S. If no one can replace me..... I will play!
