Looking at that pic, it looks like it is parked outside Mappin & Webb on St Anns square in Manchester centre. I often park there for 5 mins when I need to nip right into the centre for a sandwich or something.

Loads of nice cars stop there for 5-10 mins, I'll bet that warden was waiting until he was 1 second over the time limit before he pounced thanks to the fact its a Veyron.

There aren't any double yellows by the way, it's labelled as loading only. So most people get a quite a bit of grace there.

As for those cheering. Losers.

Klaatu..... you may not of realised this, but I do not think the person who owns the car was thinking 'do I buy this car or feed my children'...... the 800,000 better things you mention, well, you may find he/she already has 750,000 of them.

They parked illegally and got a ticket...... but the people willing to cheer and clap (assuming it was not staged) and be caught on camera doing need to have a good look in the mirror

I wouldnt cheer but I would be glad to see any car ticketed if its causing inconvenience or obstruction. Its like the video of the Lambo blasting down a tight London street that crashes, ok its a Lambo but I would be equally glad to see the driver get comm uppance for inconsiderate and dangerous driving whatever it was.

I do think the cheering was a jealousy response, perhaps those with the will but not the bottle to run their keys down it

shame a few more people do not get off of their ***** and try.
Paul, unlike you to have a sense of humour by-pass. I hope it's only temporary. It's only a parking ticket on a £1m Veyron - nobody got knifed, or savaged by wild dogs. Made me smile

Oh, and congratulations on your imminent multi-millionaire status. Just be careful where you park that helicopter

Chill mate

Regards,

Richard.

It's amazing that a liitle post like this can lead to someone owning a Veyron being called a tosser (jealousy perhaps),pointing out that it can't be used sensibly around town,an arrogant person getting their comeuppence (no one cheers when a white van illegally parked is ticketed are they not as arrogant then?).

Not for the first time either, this time in Alderley Edge...

Looks like a bus stop so thoroughly deserved that time, unlike in the centre of town.

Isnt this the guy who's brother crashed in the rally and killed a couple of OAPs......and then got done in the UK for using false plates on his 911?

I get confused though.....maybe he is a single mum rushing back from Boots....you can never tell.

Yes Nick Morley is his brother. Doesn't mean to say that Oliver is a tosser though.

looking at those pics it looks like the veyron has no number plates on it at all! Actually you can see a black pate with silver lettering on the back of it.

No....but if we devise ourselves a "shall we laugh at this bloke getting a ticket on a million pound car parked illegally" scale ..... this information would slide Oliver further towards the YES end than if he were called Harold, was 97 and fought on D Day.
