Ah, I see your a co driver in the "national" road rally
that is "round here".
What is a road rally anyway, is it one of those where you go round checkpoints supposedly observing the speed limits ? like orienteering but in a car ?

If you noticed, I did say I indulged in a bit of sideways action myself, I was just surprised that anybody would indulge on a daily basis on the way top!
Far from a do-gooder as it happens....

THE braking specialist

I have the same type diff fitted to my rally car , its a (sorry) Sierra Cosworth 4x4 ,I have a Quaiffe dog box and I handbrake all the time , The diff needs changing now but I can get uprated ones that have been pumped up for about £200 , It still works but it's more biased to the rear now , it should be a 60/40 split but its about 80/20 at the moment . Whoa, I was correct, he even used the same comparison, orienteering in a car !
I will give it a proper read tonight when not trying to do several other things, you still didnt say where you worked though, Handbrake turn tolerant employers should be applauded
I got a written warning some time ago, I borrowed a girls Rav 4 (jumped up boss *******, hence the wheels). came to turn out of the industrial estate where the offices were, truck bearing down, I thought, hmm 4wd 130 BHP, should be able to get out pretty quick so I booted it
It just made a LOAD of noise, stood still and then limped forward slowly. The bitch was watching and went and told my boss, she made a BIG fuss and he gave me a verbal warning, I objected and got a written warning for my troubles. I was leaving soon anyway (thats I.T. for you)
