Might have found what was wrong - would a small hole in the hose that is used to connect the boost gauge into the manifold bit cause my problems?

I saw your boost plot at Star and it looked the same as my decatted MY00,altough I may have held just slightly longer,IIRC,I think from memory your car peaked just below 1BAR and held about 0.95BAR to 5000rpm I held this to about 5500rpm.

Link - show me cars at Star that will beat mine (as it is now not when on the rollers the other day - it is appreciably quicker now) on a TD04L convincingly. I do love the Link though and buying again I would probably get one and love all the mapping bits. But I know a lot more now than I did a few months back.

john,we both know the person who mapped the cars a Star put in conservative maps as they were not his cars.
you know u want one,all those buttons and lights to play with

I reckon I am pushing over 170 PAW now. Do you really think a Link on a TD04L is going to get any more? Sam doesn't either from what he said when he was in my car with 1.5 PSI less than I now run in the midrange, and 1 PSI less at peak power.
But flashing lights rule
Next time I come to Star I bring a water spray and my own fan to help the poor little intercooler
Now, anyone know someone that makes 10kW fans?

Adam, Adam,
Trout jumping up and down - joining in late as usual!
Bench dynos can also be manipulated and inaccurate - it depends how the load is applied, air flow and cooling. So possibly accurate, possibly not.
The only to tell if a specific car is quick is an holisitic test - drive it!
So I probably do I agree with you really - damn!
Trout
PS Chirpy Chuck is enjoying himself!

Well, we compared ScoobySnack's ECU (green '802) with an older black 800 model. The black runs several degrees more advance than the green. The green also runs a little richer too. No wonder the green feels slower.
I'll leave it up to Jason as to whether he publishes the figures - it's his car after all !
Cheers

I don't mind any numbers going up about my car, hope we can learn a thing or two from it.
Cheers
