You have alot of options available to you. As for public transport being sh1te I can get on the train, read the paper, arrive at work quicker than using a car and not bother with parking spaces. You clearly do not know what you are talking about.
Personally I think Ken does an excellent job, stands up to the government and local councils trying to ***** things up even more.
If a congestion charge is not reducing congestion then it obviously isn't high enough, he should make it £100.

If its about money, then you set the price to the maximum you can extract from people who have little other choice.
Guess what the level is set at...

You seem to forget the fact that he is a public servant, here to serve the electorate not dictate to them.

I love the way this stop pollution, when I go to London I never take the car, mine I suspect would get the full charge, so to avoid the charge and polluting our fair capital (whilst saving money) I get a flight from Manchester to London City on VLM, those Fokkers produce less CO2 than a Nissan Micra full of illegal immigrants.....
But seriously, I think it would be worth getting a low emission vehicle to avoid the charge, then rip all the mechanicals out and replace then with something more interesting.

It's always been that way, why would it be different now? those who can afford...can.
I do agree with you though.
And you seem to forget that public servants still need to dictate to us or else we would be gridlocked, choking on our own vomit.
I do agree with you though.

As for public transport being sh!te ... I have to drive to Wokingham station where the car park is about the equivalent of a muddy field. Sit on the train where the seats haven't been washed since the days of Noah and his pets. Have to get squashed against the train window/other passengers because they won't install seats for anyone over the age of 12 years. Probably have to avoid the coffee spilt over the floor as well. Get squashed up even more for most of the way to Waterloo as it'll be standing room only. Then we have the tube .... let's stand in a queue to get on the Waterloo and City line and shuffle towards the platform. Let's get crushed in the carriages as TFL can't organise a p!ss up in a beer making facility let alone get enough carriages and trains running for the numbers of passengers. Oh, and lets squeeze thorugh all the stairwells etc as half the escalators on the underground seem to be out of operation at the same time. Heaven forbid if you want to find a waste paper bin .....

Trains every 2 to 3 minutes during rush hour is the maximum you could possibly have, there is no easy solution. Go to any major city in the world and they all face this problem, there are just TOO MANY PEOPLE trying to get into London, do you not recall the pictures of Japanese commuters physically getting pushed onto trains? Perhaps we should blame the victorians for not guessing several million people a day will use their tunnels?
As for finding a bin? I guess you'd rather get blown, but hey, there's no pleasing some.
Unfortunately the best solution, and one Ken is not responsible for is to get more people working from home...or a mass cull.
What are your thoughts? Ideas?

Democracy does not mean the right to do and please as you want. Somebody is responsible for us and sometimes that means making decisions we would not necessarily approve of, for the greater good. Like, for example the health of us and everybody else on this earth.

The unfortunate thing is you're just going to see more and more things like this, as resources get more scarce and the populations get larger and larger, more and more people fighting for less and less resources, you'll be laughing at the £25 congestion charge in 30 years. You'll have to pay double that just to walk into London

It's true though, you could vote for someone else, but will that make any difference?? I won't because it can't, see above

Band G cars are getting canned as we also pay higher car tax which will of course go up year after year too This is bound to effect the residuals of our cars as demand will go down as each new initiative comes in or an existing one gets more expensive. I didn't ask for any of this & resent it too. Can we all club together & sue the Govt collectiveley (sp?) for our loss?

yes we CAN 'sue' the government. Tomorrow, nobody go to work EVERYONE phone in sick, suffering from stress caused by increasing cost of living and high taxation. all in favour say aye, (just need another 60million-ish to do the same.)
