Good news everyone, we now have the final discounted prices as shown below:-

> STi 8 Rear Spoilers will be £280.00
> STi 6 Rear Spoiler will be the same price £280.00
> P1 Front Lip Spoiler will cost £160.00
> STi Rear Window Spoiler will cost £160.00 (includes 2 tone paint work)

These prices include painting as required, and P+P.
Savings are approx £40-£45 per item.

Paypal payments can also be accepted to
drmotorsport@lineone.net

If you do not have a Paypal Account you can call David @ DRM on, 01506 872 430 to discuss an alternative payment arrangement.

They already have a number of other orders so don't expect to receive your spoiler for roughly 2 weeks as they need to get everything through the bodyshop for painting.

When ordering by phone or through Paypal please state exactly what spoiler & colour code you require, and state that it is part of the Group Buy through Richard Gait.

I've ordered mine already

Cheers all ...

I'm not entirely sure about the rear window spoiler but from looking at other websites this does just "stick" on so no need for any drilling.

After speaking to David at DRM today, he said that the rear boot spoiler comes with the 4 bolts attached to the spoiler to fit the existing WRX boot lid holes, and they also have a spongey / sticky 3M strip all round the bottom of the spoiler for better fitment and no chance of water leakage

Good luck with the wife as mine is more interested in spending £8k on a kitchen at the moment

Yes they do just bond in place, and leave overnight to set.
Ordered mine already.

Didn't fancy drilling through the C-pillar to fit a genuine one.

Cheers also to Gaity for organising this group buy.

Just spoke to DRM and they said that they will start working on our Group Buy on Monday so delivery should be within 7 to 10 days

For those of you who haven't placed your order and paid I'd suggest you do so ASAP before DRM start work on their next Group Buy.

Cheers all and have a good weekend

Too be honest it shouldn't be a problem with anyone else joining this Group Buy, just contact DRM and ask for David using the details below:-

Tel. 01506 872 430 or 07736 666 485

Email. drmotorsport@lineone.net

Make sure you mention that this is in relation to the Group Buy for Richard Gait.

I will email David today and ask him to send an email to those of you who have already ordered and paid, and I will also ask for a list of those who have paid to be sent to me.

Don't worry fellow Scoobies, your orders will be processed

This Group Buy is increasing in size day by day

Here is the reply I received from DRM about email confirmation following your Paypal payments:-

"Everyone who has ordered should have had an email reply yesterday morning at the latest.

I'll sort out a list of orders for you, and an approx delivery time for them.
But we have something like 12 x STi8 orders and another 3 or 4 enquires. Plus 2 x STi 6 orders and another couple of enquiries.

So there's a lot added that weren't on your list.

I'm currently looking at 3 weeks to get through what is ordered.
Easter weekend doesn't help as we're closed for a few days, and 1 of our painters is on holiday for the full week.
But we'll get there."

So bear with DRM and I'm sure the wait will be worth it

Just try calling or emailing David at DRM using the contact details above and I'm sure he will oblige

We're keeping him pretty busy at the moment so if anyone is waiting on an email response please bear with DRM ...

On a separate note, I thought my MOT was due in April but just realised that it's actually next Wednesday! Called "Tiley of Bristol" (Subaru Dealer) and with a 10% discount (I'm a member of Southwestscoobies) they have quoted £450 for a 5 year Full Service including Cambelt change, an MOT and a free courtesy car - quite reasonable I thought.

Can't recall, but does the 5yr service inc coolant/brake fluid gear/diff oils etc..?

If so that does sound ok, but it could be more if the cam tensioner and idlers need replacing (if they do you definitely want them to do them..!).

Roger Clarke charge ~£360 iirc for a cambelt service, if tensioners need doing they're extra (tensioner alone ~£180..!). Not sure what the service includes however.

Phone around if yo haven't already..

Yes the 5 year includes changing virtually every fluid on the car! Including fitting a set of pads, skimming my discs, and a few other bits and bobs mine managed to come to nearly £500 at a dealer!

A colleague at work who drives an 03 WRX had their cambelt done this week - cost £300 + £180 for tensioner.

Not much point in ordering a sti 8 spoiler just yet, it's going to take a month to clear the group buy.I'll wait till things settle down, Mick.
