Well if I had NR shares at the moment - I'd consider them worthless and anything you get back is a bonus. The whole thing is a mess to be honest. What made me laugh this morning was one of the hedge funds that holds about 10% of NR shares saying that the government should give them £4 a share as this was the 'value' of the company - right OK, so no one is prepared to buy them at the moment, when their share price is 90p and you think you should get £4.... I think there will be a few less people working in that hedge fund later this week.

Which would be fine IF the government knew how to run any organisation, let alone a complex financial one, and IF they were confident that property values will be robust.

I do feel sorry for the employees but I can't say I feel sorry for the shareholders jumping up and down wanting to sue.
Thats just the luck of the draw if you want to do the equivalent of invest your savings at the bookies
