This is true information, i am a lucky person so i fancy my chances of being allocated a car quickly , specifically becasue the Black Edition was originally only offered in Silver or Black and i ordered a Silver one. Also i don't want Nissans Satnav which will only be available from Sept onwards, instead i'm having the dealer satnav option, fitted to the flip down sunglasses holder ( so i can still see how many G's i'm pulling while lost )

We should know are confirmed delivery dates by end of May and the deposit is refundable up until this point apparently.

If i can't have a car before the Summer i'll probably buy a 997 TT and fettle that a bit to bring it up to 550bhp and run that until news on the Spec-V is released as i'm apparently top of the Spec-V list........but we shall see what materialises

TBH this has been a stressful purchase, i've been fed false information from Middlehurst, they said it was a first come first serve basis and my deposit was down in October, also they pretty much gaurenteed me a car in March which now seems doubtful, the deposit saga was a load of BS as they've held onto a grand of my money for 6months now and had i placed my order a week ago it would still put me in the position i'm in today. Just seems Nissan are very mikey mouse about it all and considering the hype of this car i would have hoped they were more professional about the launch of their "supercar"

Nice one.

I'd like a GT-R, but I'm holding off putting down a deposit for one. I might want to spend the money on a house in 2010.
