MY00, 5 Zigen exhaust mid and backbox, APS cold air induction kit, Blitz DSBC (electronic boost controller) running 1.17 bar boost peak.

Best out of a tank was 335 miles, easy driving. The car took 55 litres to fill, the light had come on earlier.

235 miles out of a tank when I've been giving it stick. The car took 50 litres that time.

What is the quickest someone has drunk a tank?

On our Le Mans trip I found mine needing more pitstops than Minardi in qualifying! (MY99) However, a colleague in an STIV went through a full tank in 50 mins! Is this a record? (apart from track day)

We were travelling with Carrera 4, Tuscan and an M5, so you can imagine the speeds!

however, when ever my wife borrows the car all this changes beyond recognition. 300 around town and .......on a long motorway trip just OVER 400 miles! Boy am I doing something wrong. :-)

another a4 1.9 tdi, managed to get over 600 miles out of the first tank before i filled up (the needle had just budged off "full" )

vtr1000, at "normal" speeds i'll be lucky to see 90 miles before i'm looking for a petrol station. The first time I took it to donnington I had to stash some jerry cans round by coppice, as thats as far as it would go before it ran out... It must hold the record for the crappest range of any serious motor vehicle - wtf were honda thinking of ?

400miles from a GTB - that must be almost over 30mpg. I thought that this was impossible - are you certain there is nothing wrong with your car.............
