Couldn't give a monkies Pete. To the casual user, I suppose you think everyone sees you as a caring individual.
Whereas before the infraction system was introduced, you'd slag off anyone with a username.

Pathetic Pete.

I did think that the schools went back this week - it seems like the 14 year old boys are at home in some areas of the country

They haven't the skill or the wit to out smart an old fella like me - even mobhanded as they are ...... funny how they hide behind each other

They really do think you are me ...... I know that would make you cringe - and as for me being B-B ... well we are different shapes entirely

The Quote of the Century ................... Priceless, absolutely priceless

Could I ask you therefore, "Why do you post if you don't give a monkies?"

I don't expect an answer as that would mean you need to face up to your demons, but seriously, it could be your first step on the path to getting over me .... do you think you are ready for that first step?

Perhaps the RSPCA might run a course for you, teaching you safe ways to play with your dog and what to do if your dog gets injured by your negligence. They could probably advise you on giving your dog medication designed for humans too!

Not too mention when to visit your local vet when your dog is in distress.

I thought you were going to contact the RSPCA?

Or was that just another load of tosh and bravado keyboard warrior stuff?

I challenge you, if you are GENUINELY concerned about my dog, contact the RSPCA and get them to investigate .... but, as I said, be prepared for what it develops into.

To be fair, and I may live to regret this, I believe Pete does indeed have a GSD (and a very dodgy carpet )

https://www.scoobynet.com/non-scooby...tive-pets.html

But Pete, be reasonable. You've "cried wolf" on this BBS for so long, is it any wonder people don't believe a word you post?

I think that could be a fair point.
Not forgetting the endless knowledge. Which was apparently absent in this incident.

Snazy! Another proper dog owner sniffs the truth about this thread. Think we are up to about 5 now!

When my gorgeous 'boy' sneezes I have him down the vet asap, let alone when dribbling blood for days after having had a paracetamol (sorry - I feel the need to justify myself after the lack of canine empathy accusations...)

It is quite delightful seeing the tables turned here - he HATES it up him, more than a speed camera partnership Also I speak as a distant fan - he's OK (did me a proper favour off SN once = decent guy in real life) he just loves a crowd (not unusual) but I hate seeing people taken as mugs off the back of an emotive subject. Normally steer clear and allow him his following and fun - we are all here to interact on whatever topic or level we choose after all (even with Him!).

Off back to my doghouse to smoke my kippers now

Diesel, Tuvaaq banged his hip, made him cry, off to the vets. Like has been said by people on here, dogs get treated like one of the family.

If its out of house, we go A&E rather than the GP, or emergency vet in this case. Regardless. better safe than sorry.

As for what would an emergency vet have said.... I think the action the vet finally took answers that question.

Totally agree mate! Living in the sticks, but not quite the back of beyond, I have 24 hour access to Vets within 15 mins, and I would suggest most reasonable dog owners make better calls based on such trauma. That is IF it ever happened (which it didnt cos this guy really is brighter).

Must go - can smell smell a funny smell! Or maybe its something burning

You suggested that the RSPCA be informed ........ if it's impossible, why make such a daft comment??

Please do not EVER mistake me for PSL.

This story is entirely true and I am with the crowd that believes he should have camped out with Lazer on the emergency vets doorstep. He didnt even make the call himself - he made his wife call. That suggests to me that he can then justify it as not his mistake to take the dog in - but it was hers!!

I am just glad that she is on the road to recovery now.
