I have a 58 reg L200 Raging bull edition.
The below info might give you a bit of an idea regarding costs etc.
When I bought it, the 3 year service plan was actually free.
Last week it went in for its 37,500 mile service (had actually done a tad over 40k).
The extras I had to pay for was for a set of wipers (£16) and 4 new tyres (£500). While I was there I also extended the service plan for another 2 years (£250)
Warranty issues were, n/s/f light surround had bubbled a bit, hardtop paint bubbled a bit and a catch had came loose and fell off. All rectified without issue.
Performance wise I think its actually quite good. It has the 165bhp performance upgrade which produces about 28mpg providing the tyres are inflated correctly. The biggest surprise was how it performed in the snow, coming from the Army I thought nothing could compare to the L.Rover defender but his thing got me everywhere without issue, I go off road quite often and it seems to hold its own quite well.
Hope this helps
