For the record, I am 100% straight as my absolutely stunning fiancé would no doubt tell you. Being comfortable in your sexuality and your relationship is very important if you don't want to spend your life fretting about men and other men having sex. It doesn't bother me or scare me because I know what I like and they know what they like.

I've got quite a lot of gay friends and they are decent human beings in successful jobs and despite the fact that they deal with a level of prejudice that you would never understand on a daily basis - they live contented lives.

They would probably steer clear of you anyway, so why bother about it.

I could not give a **** if you are gay or not, although your "stunning fiance" defense makes me wonder

Well, don't waste your life wondering about it too much, I'm very unlikely to expend any energy proving it to you.

And you are WRONG.

You failed to address my question about people who enjoy/gain pleasure from having sex with infants - Is that "Not any more natural" [Jeez, I bet you don't not use double negatives don't you]

Admit it - I am right and you aren't not affirmatively incorrect

jods, all you are proving here that your powers of reading and cognition are sadly lacking. I have only ever referred to non-procreative sex between consenting adults. You are the one who seems to fail to see a difference between that and the urge to reproduce. You do understand the meaning of 'non-procreative' don't you?

Your 'reduction' is utterly **** about face, I stated in black and white that non-progreative sex is not a natural action, be it homosexual or hetrosexual.

That kind of makes your extension of the argument to include the wholly irrelevant paedophilia look as stupid as it certainly is because that is also unnatural. That is why I did not address it, because it is ridiculous.

Your inability to understand simple written English, and determination to attribute meaning to my statements that simply are not there, makes it pointless continuing to argue with you. I won't contribute further.

ps, SHOUTING in your posts does not make them any less arguable. It just makes you look like a playground bully.

Rob - You've got it.

To be fair to me Angry North is a top banana who has got that ever so rare thing called a "Sense of Humour" It used to be a prolific animal in the UK until it got culled by that particular sub-set of society who take the moral high ground with a vanishingly small backing.

CockJock - I really can't be ARSED to get into any further dialogue with you on this matter. Don't FUDGE the issue by scraping the BOTTOM of the barrel in your pseudo-intellectual MANner.

In order to be devils advocate:

A girl below 16 can be capable of having children - while it may not be moral to do so, it can be argued that a male over that age can be attracted to a female below 16 who is capable of bearing children. I would argue, based on every other species that breeds as soon as sexual maturity is reached, that this is entirely natural and very relevant.

Like I said, just to be devils advocate and just concentrating on what is "natural", rather than moral, as while people may say homosexuality is natural, many would claim it to be immoral.

You should take a person for who they are, not what they are IMO.

IIRC the age of consent in this country used to be 14, and cocaine was not illegal. Just two examples of moral laws, like anti homosexual laws. If you go even deeper it can be argued that any law is a moral judgement and infringes on a person's right to do anything they want. Indeed as I get older I see myself having a dimmer and dimmer view of all laws due to the undemocratic and unaccountable nature of our legislature. Not to mention the slew of utter crap legislation that has been passed through the last several years.

A legislation rollback is what's needed to spring clean all the crap.

Just had a brief look and it appears the age of consent was as low as 10 in England. It does seem an interesting paradox that as the age of puberty has come down the age of consent has gone up.

About as likely as murdering people will stop. That has been ruled pretty anti social behaviour but it still goes on. Doesn't make it right though.

As they said in in the second blackadder series when he discovered he fancied Bob (who was actually a girl dressed as a boy) when he went to see the doc.

Doc says "Well, it leaves all the rampant totty for us real men!"

so, really the 'shirtlifters' are doing uas 'real men' a big favour
