Identical? no - seperate placenta. Their eyes certainly are going the way of the parents - Anna has dark brown and mine are green (look me in the eye Sal ).
First impresssions were (after the inital shock) that Daniel really did look like me (poor sod). But both have my grandfather's fingers (pianist) - long and thin. I guess let's see how they are after the battering of the birth - eh?
ps. Huntster - good to see you posting again matey

Fantastic !
They are gorgeous.
Blimey, sleep no more me old son- double trouble now.
I dont envy you in the least... well I do actually.
1 is great fun but 2 must be better ....
Fab 1 (me missus wants a word)
Fantastic news about your new arrivals! Woo HOOO!!
Our wee Hollie is only 2 and half, just wanted to give a few points of advice that I thought may be of use...
1. Get Baby Einstein DVD's......fantastic - for the wee one's!
2. Dr Brown Bottles....negates colic!
3. Blanket - baby loves a blanket if the are 'nursed' in the blanket then put to sleep as the blanket has your 'scent' works a treat!
4. Dummy...........hated the idea at first, proved to warm to it"
5. Calpol.........have some in the cupboard at all times!
6. Glass of wine, you and the wife will need to have just one to chill out!
7. Sense of humour!
8. Sense of humour!
9. Remember to laugh!
10. Remember to give each other a hug, and all four of you, it helps!
Just enjoy every minute of them, they aren't babies for long....
All the best
Alan, Jen & Hollie

Congratulations to both you and Anna. They both look gorgeous!
Catch up soon, but a bit of advice I give to all new fathers....
... you only have to pretend to sleep through the crying for about a fortnight, before you actually will!!!
Hope to see you all soon!
Andy, Caroline, Amelia and Ethan.

Got 2 weeks paternity leave and I've also taken 2 weeks annual leave back-to-back so I'm off for March
Hard work so far, we're taking turns with resting up when we can and all the feeding and changing required.

Congratulations! Ours are 2 and a half now and coincidentally I haven't slept for 2and a half years!
Kidding (although those first few months it might be best to book a hotel if you want a snooze,it's like a war broke out when they were at it in tandem)

Sal - sometimes both, sometimes one then the other. They are both asleep now, lovely serene and peaceful.
Loz - thanks for the uplift and advice
Those first nappies are a bit grim, being like tar. It's a shame Anna won't let me use wonder wheels on them - it shifted tar off the car wheels a treat!

Afternoon folks........I was going to say it's nice and quiet here but I here squeaks in the background. Thanks for all your posts too
Salsa - can't remember Christening etiquette but I don't think you'll have to spend all night trying to come up with a Godfather speech
