objectively, it looks good...... but I still don't think 'scooby' when I see it. The new scoobs now have the same generic hatch look that are the hallmark of a different sector/market of car completely ie. Civic, Golf, Leon. Nothing wrong with those cars (or the '08), but for me, it simply isn't a Scooby any longer, some of the uniqueness has been lost.
Just IMO .... won't ever buy one.
And the white does look good!

it does rev above 7000 but there's not much left in it at that point. I would say it starts losing grunt at around 6500. However between 2000rpm-6500rpm you've pretty much been pinned back in your seat so you don't notice really. definitely got more out of the two litre but that engine lacked torque which this one has oodles of.

i was the same mate ... but seeing one in the flesh changed me because it's just so much bigger than I thought and has a really agressive road demeanor ... even more so in white, which was a risk beause I had no idea how it might look ... but the results speak for themselves I think.

the blue looks good too ... with the 18inch RB320 wheels in Gold, and tinted windows. Black on black with black windows looks stunning too. It's all about the wheels as the standard ones are pants but change them for some nice colour coordinated 18's and the car has a drastically better look.

Wasn't sure about the 08' STI at first but I think it looks good,
still not seen it in the flesh though
. I think we will all be driving one before we know it
scooby's have always been about the drive and judging by the write ups its bloody good. why hasn't any one purchased the optional fog lights looks better with them, are they charging stupid money

As a car it does look ok, although after seeing one in the flesh I'm still not sold on those looks.....my best mate has just bought a brand spanking Focus ST and although I've not driven it, in the looks depoartment at least I think the Focus wipes the floor with the Subaru....as much as it pains me to say it!

its encouraging to see that the vast majority of people like the look of the new car. I think it's important because this shape represents the marque for the future, and by the way they are flying out of dealerships the hardcore brand enthusiasts are happy.
