Looks really nice, I've seen a few in the last few days and have had a nose round the one at waldonway and i have to say they look really good , have also seen the new EVO (I live not far from a Mitsi dealer and i think the EVO dosen't look nearly as good in flesh

Not been about on here for quite a while , anyway i'm looking for a new car at the moment, and to be honest having only seen photos of the sti i was not that impressed , anyway called into my local dealer today and took an look at one in the flesh and i have to say its a lot better than i expected .
What interersted me though was the responce to my questions about ppp and recaros , he told me that he expected a higher performance version out mid year with recaros , more power and nav anyone else heard this story.

That looks awsome mate. A lovely looking beast. I think the MY08 is a good looking car. I just dont think it looks like an impreza. At what point does a model update become a new model car altogether

It looks very similar to the new Astra, or am i imagining it, apart from the bonnet vent. i love the quirkyness of the older scoobs that's what made them, this car does look alright but i think it will take some time to convert some die hard scooby fans.

agreed mate ... it will take time as the look is so drastically different. I think the scoob will always be compared to the EVO however where it has lacked in handling vrs the evo before it more than makes up with this new shape and handling characteristics ... and the price!! i mean 24k is such an awesome price for what you are getting. 300bhp out of the box with AWD and enough toys to satisfy even the greediest technophobe.

Cracking turbo is that. I have one on my 2.5 classic although mine has the bigger exhaust housing. Very responsive and it's not been used to its potential yet but still acheived 452bhp @ 1.4 bar
