Why avoid Japan? I think it is rather good value at present. India and China are performing similar badly recently. How likely do you think it is that Japan is in bubble territory compared with China? Africa is I feel too risky.

I've been buying Brazil, gold, oil recently. Last year I bought Japan and so far am sitting on a loss, although not nearly as bad when valued in GBP due to its weakness.
