So nature made everything then....
There was me thinking Pioneer made my TV. That's false advertising that is. They could get sued.
As mentioned, the men with white coats will be along shortly.

If you consider "nature" creating the resources your "equipment" is made from, with the manipulation of man, yes, it did. Like coal, gas and oil, gold, silver, copper, bauxite etc etc, they were there before discovery.

It's a vital and important point, if you chose to ignore it, it's your problem.
Some facts;
The moon is now 12 feet further away from earth than it was 150 years ago.
The Atlantic is 12 feet wider. The Pacific is 12 feet narrower than it was 150 years ago.
The Earth's core has slowed.
Australia is 12 feer further north than it was 150 years ago.
The Earth "changes" all the time.

I believe the question was 'When does the rainy/hurricane season hit the Carribean?', not 'are seasons accurately defined and what sort of innaccuracies may now be apparent to this human concept?'.
Thanks for the info but I fail to see how it helps the OP. Finding out if it's more likely to rain or it's more likely to be sunny when he's abroad is the topic...

I get what you're saying but to be honest, I don't actually care. I care more about whether or not it's more likely to be hot or cold in a country I am hoping to go on holiday.

yes, and?....
So we just change what we say the weather is more likely to be like in these areas as the changes take place, it ain't happening overnight. I still stick by what I said. It's usually sunnier around xmas time in Barbados and usually rainier in September/October, end of.
Are you trying to tell me that it has changed so much now that this is not the case?!?!?
And also, be it a human concept or not, I'm fairly certain that this concept is dynamic and subject to change anyway as the weather is slightly different in it's cycles now than it was when the seasons were decided by pslewis back in ye olde days (lol,if you're reading this Mr Lewis ).
Your points are irrellevant unless you want to change this thread into a climate change debate, please don't! I get enough of this crap rammed down my throat at work, being the so called environmmental champion for my department

You better be quick because planet earth has no fekin idea apparently, so it may just be a desert by the time you get there...or a primevil swamp with strange beings lurking in the murky water.
Hurricanes are the least of your worries.

PS. Clearly none of you understand the difference between human concepts and geological/planetary reality.

It's really not that hard Klaatu, and I'm sure most people do. However the concepts of time and space e.t.c were not a valid part of this thread.
