You would be surprised by how much we don't agree on based on that comment. Just because I happen to somewhat agree with him on this, doesn't mean that comment is necessary.

I don't think I'm being stupid, more realistic, but that's only my opinion, which I'm entitled to as much as you are to yours, only at least I don't have to resort to insults when I put mine across.

If you were to comment on a thread agreeing with someone would you want comments like that back at you, or would you want to be basically called stupid because your view differs from another?

No.

I just read your posts and see you tying yourself inside out, contradicting yourself and being ripped apart as laughable.

You'd try to argue yellow was purple and go on all day, but without any back-up on this thread's evidence.

The only person seeing your many points of view is Lisa. So assumed you're either her, she's with you and home from work, you're her or one of <<<< and you're using her account.

You're making no sense with anything you say and have been getting made fun of for a few days now on this thread. Time to give up maybe? Sharpen up on something that an instant google can help on?

Brilliant! So now we have moved from people that speak foreign languages being a bit wrong to out and out aparthied!

I actually genuinely can't stop laughing about the complete ridiculousness of this comment. Black kids and white kids going to the same school is "politically correct poppycock"

I can't speak for what goes on in Holland, but multi culturalism is only a failure down to both sides. A bit more live and let live in terms of colour of skin or origin would go a long way. Along with a government supportling integration and encouraging it, not favouring one group over another.

I am not Pete, not that I'm saying there is anything wrong with him.

I have my own views, and from past arguements with him on other issues, he sure knows I'm not him.

I am entitled to my way of thinking, I have never insulted anyone for theirs, regardless of whether I agree with them or not, and would appreciate if others could show the same respect back.

Agree, disagree, I really don't care, but there is no need to either insult or imply what is simply not true.

I personally have never been made fun of at all, people have disagreed with me, or questioned something I've said, but until you, noone has made fun or insulted me.

I do know that.

You've printed generally contradictary sh1te on this thread, and got yourself in a tiz with 'facts' over and over again.

Time to call it a day and stop making a fool of yourself maybe?

In any case, it's boring to read you trying to be clever when you're looking stupid with your replies.

Shame you can't see through your rose-tinted spectacles there comrade.

Stating that kids are going to benefit from mixing with cultures that refuse to integrate is indeed politically correct poppy-****. My kids will not be going to school with the offspring of uneducated toilet cleaners, thankfully. And if that makes me a racist snob then so be it!

This is SN. Give it time and you'll get ripped apart if you get in deep discussion again.

I'm joking, BTW, sort of. I didn't insult you - I just asked if you were stupid, I think.......

I don't mind anyone disagreeing with me, the world would be boring if we all thought the same. If however, someone is going to imply I'm someone else, then know it's true.

BTW I'm not stupid, I just don't have your point of view.

'Multi-culti' is a failure because of too much live and let live. I am of the opinion that a basic level of integration needs to be forced. If people refuse then they should not be made welcome. A FIFO system if you like. Finally people should remember not to bring the reasons why they left a particular place with them when they immigrate!

As the son of a immigrant (all hard-working I might add) I can rightfully claim some inside knowledge on the subject. I am well-integrated, but still maintain a degree of my ancestors cultural identity. Its a compromised position of course, but has afforded me all the fantastic opportunities open to the indigenous population.

You're going to hate this comrade.

My lads have got places at a 'white' primary school as they call it in Dutch. My oldest boy's application was in when he was 2 weeks old and his place confirmed after a lottery of applicants when he was 2 months old. His younger brother got an automatic place there.

The application form requires the parents to list their professions and qualifications (with a warning that they may ask for certificates). The 'toilet cleaners' typically wouldn't look for a good school for their kids until they get a letter from the government 3 1/2 years after the roll was filled. Too late unfortunately.

Life just isn't fair is it?

Is this actually accurate? You can place your child in a school that only allows white kids in? Or is it that the school predominantly has white kids but there is no real reason why a black child couldn't attend?

Selection due to financial means is one thing, it goes on all the time, but selection based on colour (which is what I thought you were telling me you were doing) is just about the wrongest thing I can think of.
