Hmmm, talent is subjective, he may not be Pavarotti, but the point with Ozzy is that his voice suits the music he makes, backed up by the amount of records sold, tours done, money earned to spend on drugs and length of his career, and being the frontman for a rock band is about a lot more than just how well you can sing.
If you think of the majority of the most famous rock singers, most arent technically good - Cobain, Coverdale, Plant, Hetfield, Dickinson etc... There are some who are, like Freddie Mercury, but Queen were always a bit poncy for real rock fans.
Can you imagine a Black Sabbath song sung by someone with a 'proper' singing voice ?
Personally I've never been a fan of Ozzy or any of the bands hes been in, but you cant deny that he has been one of the most successful male singers in rock music.
P.S. just to reinfoce this, as I'm typing this they have just started playing Paranoid on Planet Rock !
