Auto Express consistently found this with higher wattage bulbs.
And then there's the problems of the OE Scoob wiring: it's not very good, being on the thin side, so the bulbs suffer volts drop across the filaments. The answer is to put relays into the wiring and feed direct from the battery via thicker wires

Of course.
Under the same Road Traffic Act, aftermarket exhausts are illegal to use etc.
Police are clamping down on these and its been well publicised on local and national media.
Even Prodrive exhausts fell foul of the legislation (I think Prodrive have sorted this issue on newer models).
