Know what you mean...........moves quicker than this forum

Have you tried Auto trader? I must admit I put my Classic on both SN and PH and had very little interest. Was on the trader web site for two days and it went straight away.

I'm tempted to stick my newage on there but fairly sure it will shift if I do. I'm kind of happy I'm getting little interest on this site and part ex offers on PH as I dont need to sell the car at all.......mines more of a tentative sale.

Best of luck.

Yeh, I think I'll try Auto Trader this weekend. General concensus was that it wasn't worth it for scoobs, but then someone said a virtually untouched Classic like mine might go better on there.

Not really so bothered about selling quick now. Went to extreme-rally in Yorks at the weekend and drove one of their cars in Dalby forest. Am now on a serious come-down, and want to be a rally driver :'( sob... Would recommend extreme-rally to anyone who wants a taste of proper rally driving. One of the best courses I've seen around - proper obstacles (like banks, trees etc) not just traffic cones.

They look dated, like when you bought the car rather than the car in the condition your selling.

You need an interior pic but for now I would just use these photos until you get some less dated looking ones.

Just my opinion having been looking at a number of cars for sale recently

My reply to your original thread several weeks back:

"Now is not a good time to sell I'd say down to two things, high price of petrol and post Xmas debt hangover. For a reasonably quick sell I'd be putting a car like that up for £4.5-£5k. Car sitting around for a while, £500 more. You could try Ebay, one very similar spec to yours recently failed to reach its reserve, maxed at £4995. "

Seems to be a price thing as the car looks good.

Car looking even better now. Gave it a thoroughly good pampering today. Feels like glass now. New pics to come soon. Watch this space!
