To my surprise it stated the car is runnnig 350, and it certainly feels very quick

Now a couple of "friends" have stated that no way would a vf35 make 350 bhp, and that maybe figures have been fudged.

I certainly dont believe that:
a) Bob would do that, and he certainly has an enviable rep.
b) That he would fudge anything ever!!!

They have even hinted that the car is runnnig at its absolute limit and reliability was questioned.

I know they maybe pulling my leg and again ill state that im over the moon with this figure and how the car pulls and pulls and pulls but what do peeps think????

I have the graph but dont know how to put it up.

I have a 97 uk classic with a few modes including a VF35 maped at 324phb @.85bar not bad ah

Bob mapped my classic with a VF35 and it made 340 of each. With a more capable ECU I wouldn't be surprised if 350 was possible.

It sounds like your mates might have a touch of the green eyed syndrome!

Ive got an 03 STi , Walbro pump, K+N pannel filter,Set of PF7 Plugs, Full decat and stainless zorst,Apexi AVC-R 340 bhp on the standard VF35.
Next move is an MD321H or one of those MD555 turbos , well as soon as i can make my mind up , i keep hearing that the MD555 is the same unit as the 321 with a different name ?

The MD555 uses a custom housing, the MD321H uses a standard part machined to suit !

IIRC

Both the MD555 and the 321 range use the same custom exhaust housing , but different spec cores and wheels...
The 555 exhaust end also comes ceramic coated as standard , this may be an option on the 321 ...
Both very good turbos , we are currently testing a new 500bhp bolt on version of the MD555 and will let people have the results when finished...

Does the ceramic coating on exhaust make that much difference? If so where can I get this done in the midlands?
