He knew what he was getting into, it's half his fault the marriage broke down, maybe more, we don't know. I think that scoobynet is doing the usual, "let's hang them" before knowing the full facts. OK, she doesn't do herself any favours, but WE DON'T KNOW THE FULL FACTS, so stop speculating and go fiddle with your knocklinks or something....

I'd be very happy with £24m "tied up" in property

As for the cash for their daughter, it may be a small percentage to him but its a huge amount of money per year to raise a child - I certainly wouldn't complain!!

I had a bit of sympathy for her until I saw her outside the court yesterday, and I thought I must have misheard her complaining about the child allowance each year, but I didn't

I don't know why she thinks she deserves anything tbh.

The bit that pisses me off is the fact that she feels hard-done-by by the fact she has "only" got £24million! (whether it's in property or not)

As mentioned above, her and her daughter will want for nothing for the rest of their lives, the fact it is a small percentage of what he is worth is neither here nor there in my opinion, he was worth that sort of money before he met her so why should she be entitled to it?

She's appealing about the judgement having been made public, not about the amount.

swivel-eyed monopedal loon. and the press love her because loons always mean great copy. like david icke, she's a media gift.

press says 'look at this one-legged-mentalist-former-glamour-model-turned-charity-and-publicity-*****-who-married-our-paul-the-beatle-and-thinks-she's-hard-done-by!'

public says 'she's a loon!'

press says 'go on, have another look!'

public says 'she's a loon!'

GMTV says 'don't miss the TV interview!'

public says 'she's a loon!'

press says 'read her serialised memoirs!'

public says 'it's a book by a loon! i'll have three!'

etc ad nauseam ...

probably says as much about an amoral, prurient press and a pavlovian public as it does about heather mills being utterly mad. very undignified. plus ca change.

Exactly. How many 4 year olds need £35k a year?
Any flights their daughter needs to visit her dad. Any cars needed to pick her up to visit her dad, will be paid for by Paul.
£35k a year to pay for new clothes any food? Many families live on far less than that.
When their daughter hit 18 or 21, I think there will be quite a large trust fund waiting for her.

The bit that made me laugh though was when she said that Paul was sad for putting herself and their daughter through these court proceedings. In other words he should have just paid out £125m in the first place.

Expect to see her on every talk show, woman magazines, and news papers ranting about her story for the next couple years.

Just hope that the media just ignore her.

Women have a bad name? Surely not

I mean, they are soooo logical, NEVER suffer from moods, always wear sensible shoes, wear sensible clothes, don't spend hundreds of £ on make-up, hair colour, nail colour etc etc etc

WHY on earth would women have a bad name?

He offered her £m15+ at the start just to pi55 off.

You would think once she realised the press was consistently taking the rise out of her, she'd calm down some. Shes only got herself to blame for allowing herself to be portrayed as a bit loopy.

He must have known she had a checkered past and quite frankly, the way the divorce system works, anyone with even an iota of money should give marriage a very wide berth.

What was the score with the wet lawyer though? Anyone confirm Mills through a glass of water over her? If true, that alone shows a complete lack of self control.

There's some good stuff coming out now

Judge reported that there was no evidence that she actually gave any money to the charities as she claimed......
