I enjoy the hour build up, lets hope the BBC keep it. For those that don't like the build up (like my dad) all you need do is turn on the TV a little later

On the plus side, it's looking like ITV might lose the champions league - Sky have got 5 of the 6 packages, and all that is left is the Tuesday night prime time slot, and its looking like the BBC might even get that.

The man's a complete cretin. Often comes out with inane comments which are then either ignored or slapped down by Brundle who at least knows something about being an F1 driver.

Also his tendency toward whining hyperbole 'leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewiiiiisssssssssssssss wiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnssssss'
make me want to baseball bat him around the head and then keep putting the boot in while he whimpers on the floor. I can't think of a single person that I haven't met other than him that I'd cheerfully hospitalise.

Onto the subject of Hill I can't remember what sort of job he did but he's popular at the BBC so I wouldn't be surprised to see him doing something.

Hopefully this will see the back of Blundell also. He's another cretin who can't even speak English properly. His constant misuse of the word 'what' fills me with seething rage.

Seriously you cannot overestimate how much QPR fans worhsip the ground he walks on (along with Briatore and Mittal)

I mena , the other day, on the BBC site, it said we were going in for Luis Figa at the end of the season.

I don't mind the coverage on ITV, the adverts are a pain in the a$$ though, so the move back to the BBC should be good!

The best part of the F1 race now IS the adverts.

I still watch it in the hope it gets interesting but by 2009 I'm sure with the introduction of speed humps it will improve.

It could be screened on Dave+1 with the Krankies commentating for all I care as long as they actually race and not follow each other.

2009 sees new rules for the aerodynamics coming in as well though.
The first race of this season wasn't too bad, certainly with the loss of traction control it's brought the emphasis more towards the driver again!

The BBC's coverage of MotoGP is great, I have no worries about F1 being back on the BBC

The combination of Toby, Julian and Randy i.e. Eurosport commentators on Motogp at at least 34,628 times more interesting than Charlie and Steve on BBC

Not wanting to seem harsh, but have you ever thought about appearing on an episode of Grumpy Old Men?

I cannot believe that a couple of commentators could cause you so much angst

Is this destined for BBC1 or just any BBC channel? Im sure it will be on the main channel buts its just a thought.

I hope they keep on Brundle at least for his tech knowledge and pit walk. James has got to go the man is a fool!
I think the Brundle gate may have soured Bernie's relationship with ITV maybe this is the fall out of that?

Whats Eddie Jordan doing these days lol ? Or Eddie Irvine? (Might get some "****'s sakes" out of him though lol)

Dont know who else, ive always thought the guys who run radio Lemans deserved more because their commentry is always good?

I hope they keep the 1 hr intro session, its worth having so you can catch up with the off track drama and practice / qualifying.

I think the BBC will do good things with F1. Shows how much more popular it is since Lewis arrived. I dont think they would have been that interested without him.

How is James Allen a fool? He probably knows more about F1 than most people will ever know.

This is the very reason Brundle will not be hire by the BBC. The FIA tried to get ITV to ban him from F1 races. ITV said no. ITV lose coverage.

Ah it's refreshing to know I'm not alone Whilst I don't think Blundell is a cretin his misuse of the word 'what' also really winds me up

Give the commentary to Ben Edwards and keep Brundle to do the techy bits. Edwards can make even the most boring race sound exiting.

Thank god someone`s finally "Stopped the ****" that is James Allen

Wasn`t there a national hate campaign a few years ago about him lol. I hope they don`t go for someone like Hill to commentate though. Brundle does a pretty good job IMHO.
