sounds like it could be allsorts......my works van recently had a rear shocker fitted and the sti is giving out the exact same noise, hopefully its not the links or the mounts and Ive guessed it right....ill let sc have a look and if its the shocks ill get their own custom ones that remedy the prob.

Definitely (rear) drop links. The ALK I have doubts about. The guy who set up my car dialled in massive amounts of camber without the need for it, and it cornered like you wouldn't believe (we're talking 3 figure entry speeds). The ALK does adjust the mounting position of the rack, affecting the turning input under load, but I have to question whether it is needed, although having driven Al's car it may well be (but I didn't try any serious cornering as he wouldn't let me anywhere near it again if I did ). You are getting a Whiteline rear ARB aren't you ? If not, add it to the list, and be honest with yourself. If you brake a lot and have a twitchy, nervous driving style, then go 22mm and consider the middle setting, but stiffest is best If you're fluid and smooth, 24mm.

Whiteline adjustable rear ARB is the best value mod I've made to mine !
On stiffest it's a bit too tail happy on track, but I was trying to re-learn what the car can do after doing F&R ARB's plus ALK and drop-links....
I don't drive so aggressively on the road so a track session is superb fun, sadly took crap tyres...
