What strange logic.
I'm pretty sure a dog doesn't want to die. Because it can't communicate that in words, it deserves to die under the circumstances detailed in the original post?
Why not kill off all the orphan's in the world? Only the poor young ones who don't have an opinion or shoes, mind.... I mean, of all the evil in the world, does it really matter? We all know two wrongs make a right.

And the farmer thing is nonsense...bottom line we kill millions of animals. what difference does it make to the animal if it was breed to die or just happens to die....as long as its painless and has a nice life, who cares.

Whats the big deal? Of all the evil in the world does it really matter if a couple of dogs are put to sleep (with no pain or distress).....considering we whack a few million cows/sheep/pigs every year, who cares?
Personally i'd give every dog in a rescue home 5 days...if its not re-housed,
euthanize it. The dog knows no difference and it no longer has to live in a cage.

shall we do it to prisoners too, y'know people who havent paid their tv licence and stuff, if we do it when they are asleep, they will notice no difference and no longer have to live in a cage.

Obviously some people DO care
It matters in the respect of peoples intentions towards a creature. If you dont want a dog, dont buy one. This is why they are not allocated to people when they turn 16. Its a decision for people to make.
Once people make that decision, they have some guidelines to adhere to. A bit like CHOOSING to learn to drive, then acknowledging drink driving is wrong to do. If you like booze that much, dont drive.
This person has bought an animal and acted in a caring nature, brought it up and paid its vets bills. But feels its ok to terminate that life at any time because they can!
I can see exactly where you are coming from, but it seems like your ignoring the finer point of the post
If the bottom line is we kill animals, and by your own admission we kill babies with abortion, why stop at 16-20 weeks. Why not just kill orphans.... bottom line, we kill babies eh.

Can you not see the difference between a kid and an animal? go young enough on a child and we do kill them, all the time.

Maybe you should live with an intelligent dog, Mark. All that time with English bull Terriers appears to have tainted your view.
Your last few words are the telling ones. You clearly don't care, but millions do. That puts your view in the minority here, or just makes you an ****.

I shall do a bit of cut and pasting to make it a little clearer
I appreciate its a bit confusing to be asked such a random question.
Does that mean destroyed and laid to rest with you?
Response was swift and clear....
Absolutely.
Its very much a personal decision and whilst I do not expect everyone to agree, I do not request their opinion, or permission, either.

That's, excuse me, some f*cked up sh*t!!
And as for the subject of permission, I think they're going to need the services of a vet to destroy an animal humanely and I really can't seem them agreeing to it for that reason!
