my 2 pennies is i tried esso and bp high octane fuel when i first got the car and it ran ****, was worried it was going to die as it was missing and holding back all over the place. changed to vpower one day and slowly got better, by the next tank she was pulling and behaving like she did when i got her.
dont mind the tesco fuel but its hard to find the 99 stuff round here, lots of 97 just not 99. always add nf to every tank to
V Power isnt crap, may have been a dodgey batch or like said before it may have been mapped on another fuel

My advice? Don't write off V-power, just avoid the garage that you purchased it from. After using all the different garages in my area I will now ONLY use V-Power.

Tried v power on my uk Turbo, load of rubbish on a uk car, no differance at all except for running lumpy on tick over. May be different on a STI though........or later models that can adapt better to othe fuel.

You guys don't know how lucky you are! It's 95 or 97 RON here. None of this V-Power, Tesco 99, BPESSOSHELL101SuperPlus+. My Scooby gets Total Excellium 97, as I'm no fan of Esso, and it just happens to be what the Scooby dealer sells, as well as my nearest garage. When on holiday in France it gets whatever I can find. I guess I don't know what I'm missing out on. Oh, and I've just done 300 miles of mixed driving, on 3/4's of a tank of Total around the St. Malo area, and then stuck €20 of Leclerc's finest 97 RON in to last till I got back to 91p/litre at home.
