Why would they do that? They have plenty of time to fit in writing books, newspaper columns and creating other tv shows around Top Gear. I wouldn't be surprised if the BBC went whole hog and launched a HD channel called BBC Top Gear dedicated to the boys

Murray Walker was well past his sell by date when he packed it in. Half of what he said was OTT and a load of bollox. Bringing him back would be a bad move.
I heard Murray Walker do a race commentary last year and he was still good and accurate. His knowledge is particularly good and the "Murrayisms" were quite entertaining really. No one ever did their homework like he did.
